present a performance of

Rescuing Persephone
Surviving and Transforming Sexual Violence

Dynamite Space
downstairs of Thornes Marketplace, 150 Main St Northampton
ALSO FEATURING: Valley Women’s Martial Arts

Rescuing Persephone is written, directed, and performed by survivors of sexual violence. The play conveys the anguish and challenges survivors face, the paths they find to recovery, and the hope and insight they can offer others. Valley Women’s Martial Arts opens with a lively, interactive demonstration. The play is followed by a dialogue with artists and representatives from UMASS Everywoman’s Center.
